Vocal group founded in 1967 by Gene Puerling, who had also formed The Hi-Lo's. The group included Len Dresslar who is best known as the Jolly Green Giant from the commercial for the brands frozen vegetables, and initially made their money from jingles and commercials. In 1971, the group began making jazz vocal recordings.
