Singer, who rose to fame in 2001 as the ethereal, dreamy, Faye Wong-inspired fictional singer Lily Chou-Chou for the film All About Lily Chou-Chou.
Her debut as a solo artist came in 2004, with the help of songwriter/producer Takeshi Kobayashi. Since 2011 she has performed as salyu × salyu.
