Blues, rock, country and rockabilly guitarist and vocalist. Buchanan was found hanging in a jail cell where he had been taken after an arrest for public intoxication. The death was ruled a suicide, but Buchanan's family and many of his friends believe he died from a beating by police, who then covered up the crime by hanging Buchanan's body.
