Fantastic Plastic Machine

Comments: aka FPM. Essentially Tanaka's solo project, early in his career he was frequently joined by Yasuda. Given Tanaka's friendship and collaborations with artists such as Towa Tei, Yasuharu Konishi and Keigo Oyamada, Fantastic Plastic Machine are considered to be part of the Shibuya-kei (Shibuya Style). Their influences include bossa nova, lounge, techno-pop, and house music.
