Johnny Cash did a version on his 1987 album "Johnny Cash Is Coming To Town", and...
Eric Burdon did it on his 2001 album "The Night".
Added both covers.
My source for 1967 is the Goldmine Price Guide.
According to Goldmine this albulm was also released in stereo in 1967 with cat number ST 21854.
Thanks for the scan. Continue to try to find out who did the spanish lyrics, maybe if you find an email address somewhere...

Check out the credits of this song in the GEMA database. They seem to credit modugno also for the lyrics, could that be correct?

Will It Go Round in Circles by Billy Preston sampled / covered (?) by
Turntable Rocker (www.turntablerocker.com) as "No Melody"
Have a look at this album for example:
Album by BK & his orchestra, song by BK.
You have Michael Jackson as having covered the Isley Bros track 'Shout' in 2001. Sorry but this is a totally different song and not a cover.
Revised
The song 'The First Cut Is The Deepest' (written by Steven Demetre Georgiou a.k.a. Cat Stevens and originally performed by PP Arnold) was also covered by a band called the 'The Koobas' in 1968. This version was realead as Columbia Single #DB-8419 and is also featured on the first CD of the 4-CD set 'Nuggets II, Original Artyfacts From The British Empire And Beyond 1964-1969'.
Excellent contribution Mitch, I've added this cover.
Actually the series is CDROUN:
Duran Duran's cover album Thank You has been elected "Worst Album in the World... Ever!". Read all about it in The Independent.
