Subsidiary of Majestic Radio & Television Corporation. It took over the Hit label in early 1945 and went bankrupt in 1948. Many of the masters were sold to the Mercury label.
At the end of 1949 the Majestic brand name was purchased by Leonard Ashbach, president of Garod Radio Corporation. The newly revived Majestic label was active from early 1950 through 1952.
