- Legendary Chicago-based label established by Irving Taman, who formed it in 1948 or 1949 to record some of the musicians that performed at his tavern. His principal talent was pianist Sunnyland Slim, who began performing with his band in the establishment in October 1948. The label probably only had three sessions and two known releases, which featured not only Muddy Waters and Little Walter at the beginnings of their careers, but four other Chicago blues legends—Sunnyland Slim, Floyd Jones, Leroy Foster, and Jimmy Rogers.
