Jeane covers (Canary)

Correction and addition to

Jeane

The Sandie Shaw version of the Smiths' "Jeane" was originally on the b-side of SS's "Hand in glove" 12" single, released in 1984, Rough trade RTT 130.

"Jeane" has also been covered by Billy Bragg on the b-side of "Greetings to the new brunette", 12" single, Go! Discs GOD X15, 1986. On cd it's on "Reaching to the converted", Cooking Vinyl COOKCD186
