Hi Bastien. I noticed that the Beach Boys cover of Satisfaction was rejected becuz it was "Live'. Technically speaking it was done live in the studio for the Beach Boys "Party Album". This so called live recording was rejected for the Party Album. And was unofficially released on the "Unsurpassed Master series" Vol.1 thru 20. This is a diplomatic way of calling it a bootleg. Oh Dear!. However it's all from the master tapes and a must have for any BB collector such as myself.

Satisfaction was never done live in a concert setting. However Jumpin Jack Flash was done live in the early 70's in concert. But was rejected for inclusion on the Beach Boys Concert Double Lp in '73. It however was included on a test pressing which needless to say is extremely rare.

The unreleased takes of Satisfaction were released on 'Unsurpassed Masters Vol. 10 (1965) The Alternate "Beach Boys Party!" Album'. Sea Of Tunes C 98027/28/29/30 [CD]; Released 1998.
