- With the recording of 'Confess', Miss Page became the first pop singer to have her voice overdubbed to sound like a duet or a group. According to an interview, that was a matter of necessity, as there was no money to pay for backup singers. Page's manager Jack Rael got the idea of her doing a double voice; she had to sing one part onto the acetate and then the other (records were recorded direct to disk back then)
