- Dial reused catalog numbers, sometimes when issuing different takes of a song, sometimes when renaming the song or the artist, and sometimes when coupling a different title to a previously used catalog number. It appears that the same recording of When I Grow Too Old to Dream was used on all issues of Dial 1004 including the song, with different takes of Confirmation being used as the other side of the record. The same recordings were also released by Dial under the artist name "Tempo Jazz Men", while other recordings from the session at which these were produced were also issued under the name of the Dizzy Gillespie Jazzmen, Tempo Jazz Men or both.
