Comments:The song was originally titled "Prayer", and written for Jean Harlow to sing in the movie "Hollywood Party". However, it was never used in this movie. The lyrics were then rewritten for the movie "Manhattan Melodrama" where it was sung by Shirley Ross. Finally, the lyrics were again rewritten and the song released as the famous pop song "Blue Moon" in 1935.
