Comments:	From the opera "Die Dreigroschenoper". Sung by the character "Moritatensänger". Most sources claim Lotte Lenya sang the first version of this song. However, we believe this is incorrect. The confusion is probably due to the fact that she was in the original cast (as "Jenny") and that she recorded the song in the fifties.
