What the link between Arch Tech Records and Navarre Records? Why do you mention both?

Both label names are mentioned on the record cover. Sorry, I have no information about the links between Navarre and Art Tech Records.

We helped Joe Bonson selling the record in Sweden, but the records were purchased directly from the artist, so I have no further info about labels.

That's a bit of a problem because we can link a medium to only 1 label, preferrably the lowest sublabel (and not the parent label, or the distributor).

Maybe www.joebonson.com himself can explain?

Good idea. I will ask Joe Bonson himself about the labels. Hopefully he will answer, and I will forward the info as soon as I know of anything.

The answer Staffan got:

Arch Tech Records is the label.

Navarre Records do the distribution.

Another question, concerning "Joe Bonson & Coffee Run". How should I interpret this? Is "Coffee Run" is seperate band with whom he made this album? Or is it his own band (like Elvis Costello& The Attractions)?

Let me come back to you with an answer to this question. I know so much: Joe Bonson has his own 7 piece band that he plays the clubs with. This record were cut in Nashville, and the reason for cutting an album in that town is the wonderful studio players you can get there. So he did not use his 7-piece band on the record. My guess is: Coffie Run is his wife and maybe one more friend that do the back-up singing bluegrass type. But I will deliver the true story as soon as I can get ahold of Joe.

But do you think we should make a seperate band for "Coffee Run"? Or consider "Joe Bonson & Coffee Run" an alias of "Joe Bonson"?

"Coffee Run" are actually Joe Bonson´s wife and one more band-member singíng back-up on the record "Love Train". Players on the record are Nashville studio pickers. You could probably just leave "Coffee Run" out, as the singers are not mention on Joe Bonson´s second album.

And just when I thought I could close the topic, I saw the following:

1. Mama Tried Wade Richardson

Hu? What does this mean?

Checked with the record company: Just a mistake by the printers. Merle Haggard and no one else wrote the song.

Hey, you misunderstood. Amazon says the performer of the first track is "Wade Richardson", not Joe Bonson. Seemed a bit weird to me but I thought I'd better check.

Check also track 2:

2. Jesus and Bartenders C-Bo

and track 7:

7. Just As Long As You Love Me Pete Schlegel

I suppose these are mistakes as well? Very strange...
