However, I have Clanton's version as first released. It think it was released around August, and Wynter's more around september or october.

The original version, a million seller, was by Jimmy Clanton and released in the USA on Ace 8001 in 1962.
Mark Wynter release the UK cover later in 1962 on Pye 7N15466.
