Dr Ross's second version retitled "Cat squirrel", was recorded in 1959 and released in 1961 on Fortune 857. See att.

Covered by Cream (1966) and Jethro Tull (1969).

All in all, this is an adaptation of Petway's 'Catfish' or Muddy's 'Rollin' Stone'.
