They are the same Seb, but my main point is the The Greenbriar Boys version of Stewball closely follows the lyrics of this Woody Guthrie version and the music is also in a similar ballad style, but the Greenbriars could also have lifted the music from Pledging My Love
I would like to see this resemblance / adaptation relation reflected in the SHS database.
So the adaptationrelation of Stewball needs an adjustment.
It now says Adapted from Skewball written by [Traditional]
I think it should be: Adapted from Submission #30716 with a comment Lyrics
and also: Adapted from Pledging My Love with a comment Music
So I think Woody's version needs to be processed as an independent work, supplemented with the following comment
