I'd heard about the www.coversproject.com site, but hadn't heard of this site, which I should definitely look to as a resource!
I produce a podcast (internet radio show) which is specifically based on cover songs. I do about three shows a week, and they're about 30 minutes long, and you don't need an iPod to listen. I welcome music from unsigned and independent bands, as well as playing music by more famous artists. And each week I try to do a theme show where I showcase an artist or genre of cover songs and play music that fits that theme. It's completely free, and you can listen right from your computer.
