Papa Was a Rolling Stone (Papa Was a Rollin' Stone ) was also covered by David Lindley & El Rayo-X (link ) on the album Very Greasy (Very Greasy ) Asylum Records 1988, 960 768).
On that same album there’s also a cover of Bobby Freeman’s Do You Wanna Dance (Do You Want to Dance ), listed as ‘Do Ya’ Wanna Dance’
