Moon Over Naples


Bert Kampfert recorded this at Studio Rahlstedt, Hamburg for Polydor Records in September 1964.


It was first released early 1965 on the LP "Love Letters" (Polydor 184 022) and later on a single (Polydor 59 033 L). Now added.

In the USA it was released on the LP "The Magic Music from Far Away Places" (Decca DL 74616) in April 1965 (NOT 1961).

In these cases, it's better to edit the performance/medium instead of creating a new one. If you can't edit objects created by other editors, report the error and wait for the editor to correct it.


Out of curiosity, how do you know that "Love Letters" was released before "The Magic Music from Far Away Places"?

Good Q ! I'm relying on research by an online friend, will ask him about this, it seems natural to have a European release first.
