Error description

Good Lovin'

According to Wikipedia and other sources, this was written with different lyrics and recorded by American R &B singer, Limmie Snell under the name, Lemme B. Good. Rudy Clark, with Resnick then rewrote the Good Loving lyrics.

Wouldn't this make, Good Lovin by Clark and Resnick (the one we know and love, as I say to all my ffs by the Rascals, and those before them) but after Snell, an adaptation? Just asking

Original versions

Source: Wikipedia

The song was first recorded in early 1965 by Canton, Ohio, R&B singer Limmie Snell under the name "Lemme B. Good". About a month later the song was redone—with considerably rewritten lyrics—by R&B/novelty artists The Olympics, but this version was only moderately successful at best, reaching number 81 on the Billboard Pop Singles chart.

O.K. That is more than 2 years old, then why is that (Lemme's version) not on the song page? Which is why I asked, if the second (the one the Rascals recorded/covered ) version is an adaptation. I clicked All and there is no Adaptation heading. This information is not found on the song page, although THIS one would be the original.

This seems to be the same as when covers are reported more than once under "report Missing covers," before they are placed on the list.
