Could you please recheck the recording date for this?

shows the release but has no version of the tune recorded in the 1961 session. There is a version recorded in 1966 (no specific date). If that's the earliest, then the performance shifts over to Prairie Dog .

You are correct that "Angel Eyes" does not actual appear on the release "Angel Eyes". I will delete this performance. Angel Eyes does, however, appear on "Hush!" and was recorded on January 12, 1962. "Hush!" was released in 1962 so it contains the first recording of "Angel Eyes" by Pearson. I will add "Hush!" Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
