Below are a few Donna Summer connected covers, some her versions of other peoples songs, and some other people's versions of Donna songs:

--Donna Summer recorded Heaven's Just a Whisper Away, written by Keith Diamond, Larry Henley and Anthony Smith, in 1991 on her Atlantic release "Mistaken Identity" (82285-2). Regina Belle covered the song on her Columbia release "Passion" in 1993. Added in the meantime

--Donna Summer recorded "Con Te Partiro" as "I Will Go With You (Con Te Partiro)" in 1999 on the Epic release "VH1 Presents Live & More Encore!".  It was a studio cut on a mostly live album.  Writing credits go to F. Sartori & L. Quarantotto, with translation by Donna Summer.  Added in the meantime

"Con Te Partiro" is already in database at Con te partirò Note: although based on the same song, these are different English lyrics than "Time To Say Goodbye" by Sarah Brightman.  This is billed as a "translation" of the Italian lyrics, while I believe Brightman's recording is based on new lyrics... Added in the meantime

--Donna recorded the Brenda Russell composition Dinner with Gershwin on her 1987 Geffen release "All Systems Go".  Russell finally recorded the song herself in 1990 on her A & M release "Kiss Me With The Wind".  Added in the meantime

--Donna recorded The Way We Were on her 1978 "Live & More" release on Casablanca. Added in the meantime

--Donna Summer and Barbra Streisand's 1979 hit "No More Tears (Enough Is Enough)", which appeared simultaneously on Streisand's Columbia release "Wet" and Summer's Casablanca release "On The Radio - Greatest Hits Vol. 1 & 2", was later covered by k.d. lang and Andy Bell (of Erasure) in 1993 on the soundtrack to Coneheads on Warner Bros.  The song was written by Paul Jabara and Bruce Roberts.
