This is an acoustic loop version of Hey Joe. The intro and parts of the solos are improvised. Hey Joe was Jimi's first single recorded in 1966 in London. This is the song that first got peoples attention.
I am using a Boss RC20XL loop sampler on parts of this tune. This is a one take performance with no overdubs. Just me and my looper. This is the way I would perform this song on a live gig. Although the message of this song is rather morbid, it is significant because of the fact that it was Jimi's first single.
