Step 2: Get familiar with the team

Once you've passed the first step, you can assume you're on track to become an editor. From now on the steps will serve to gradually make you familiar with the different aspects of the Second Hand Songs organisation and database.

In step 2 we will give you access to the private part of the forum, reserved to editors. We expect from you to:

1. Say hello and shortly present yourself

Think of:

• Age
• Location
• Job
• Describe your interest in music
• Describe your interest in covers

2. Comment the guidelines

If you haven't already during Step 1, you should ask any question you might have about our guidelines. Criticism is of course also very welcome.

3. Join team discussions

If you have some interesting views on current issues we're discussing, we would be more than happy to read them.

4. Get instant messaging

In order to optimise communication within the team, we'd like to ask you to create a user profile on an instant messaging program (if don't have one already).

This is probably a short step, after this we will let you move on to StepThree.
