From Zip! Goes a Million (1919), Jerome Kern's only musical comedy to close during its tryout runs. "Look for the Silver Lining", one of the show's songs, did however find its way into the score of the 1920 musical comedy Sally and the annals of American music history.
It was sung in "Sally" by the characters Sally of the Alley and Blair Farquar. - Published by
