This work was originally written as "What Price Love?" with lyrics when Parker was 19 years of age. It was copyrighted and originally released as "Yardbird Suite", without the lyrics, which have, however, been recorded occasionally.
"Yardbird Suite" is a contrafact of Rosetta (same chord structure but new melody) and in turn A Night at Tony's is a contrafact of "Yardbird Suite". - Published by
