Error description

La mia voce

Ciò che fai and La mia voce are the same song. Initially released as "Ciò che fai" with lyrics credited to Shapiro, it was later renamed "La mia voce" with lyrics credited to Mogol/Gianco. Apparently the reason was that the single "BB 03130" was printed in a hurry and then properly repackaged (BB3139) with the right title and authors.

"When You Walk in the Room" had two different Italian adaptations. The first (and more famous) is titled "C'è una strana espressione nei tuoi occhi", with lyrics written by Shel Shapiro. The second is known as "La mia voce" with lyrics written by Mogol and Gianco. BUT, when they first printed the New Dada single, the used another title ("Ciò che fai") and different credits (Shel Shapiro).

Why isn't Shapiro the "real" author?

1. Subsequent releases (covers and self-covers) all credit Mogol and Gianco;

2. Shapiro wrote "C'è una strana espressione..." so the wrong credits of "Ciò che fai" may be an honest mistake.

Are "Ciò che fai" and "La mia voce" the same song? Not only the same song, but the same recording!
