Let Me Entertain You

The original song is from the stage production of the musical Gypsy, initially performed in Act 1 by the characters Baby June and Baby Louise (with the news boys), then in Act 2 by the adult Louise. In the 1959 Broadway cast and on the album Gypsy, Jacqueline Mayro and Karen Moore played Baby June and Baby Louise in Act 1 and the main adult Louise 'strip' performance in Act 2 was by Sandra Church.

Natalie Wood was the adult Louise in the 1962 film and film soundtrack. There's also been a bunch of revivals, each with recordings released.

I've just discovered that I don't have the authority as a Junior to add songs to a visual performance you've created in the same way that I can add new tracks to an album already in the database.


So, for the time being, I've set the Gypsy album tracks as the originals.


Would you kindly add the songs to the stage show as the true originals please?
