- Cadillac Baby (real name: Narvel Eatmon) started Bea & Baby, named after his spouse Bea and himself, in Chicago. The label preserved some interesting blues recordings of post-World War II black Chicago artists ranging from Eddie Boyd, Homesick James, James Cotton and Little Mack Simmons to the great unknowns, Arlean Brown, L.C. McKinley and Willie Hudson. Bea & Baby wound up operations at the end fthe 1970s when a fire destroyed the label's headquarters.
